ABOUT
I’m a forty (odd) year old husband and father who’s terrified of blogging, but loves writing. Originally from Scotland, I now live in Sydney with my wife and two kids.
I didn’t know anyone with children when my wife was expecting the first time around. So I’d sit in front of my computer at the end of the day and squeeze my life out onto the keys. And the more I wrote, the more I could make sense of it all. I haven’t really stopped since.
My wife and I both work our asses off during the week, and hang out in the parks at the weekend complaining about the price of property and coffee. And childcare. And parking.
We try and get out the city as much as possible but don’t quite manage it as much as I’d like. It’s something I’m working on though.
UPDATE: We packed in our jobs and started driving up the East Coast of Australia with a camper trailer! Surprise surprise, I wrote about it as we went along…

What’s with the Pirates? I don’t know. I’ve always kind of liked them. I can imagine them swanning around giving the royal finger to anyone who pisses them off…
